Visitors!!!!

This was a VERY special weekend! Saturday Andrew and Shannon came into town for the day and we went to the Dixon's farm. Nicholas met the horses for the first time! He was really excited and liked them very much! This was the first time that we had met Shannon (andrew's bride-to-be) and the first time that they had met Nicholas! It was too fun. Shannon is great and Andrew is a very lucky guy. We went to the pancake pantry for breakfast, drove Shannon around Nashville, and then to the farm. After the farm Nicholas went to Mamo's and we went to dinner with another couple that had come into town for the wedding that Andrew and Shannon were here to attend. We went to the Watermark for dinner. It was DELICIOUS! I ate everything on my plate... seriously.

Trigger gets a new friend!!!!!! .... maybe...

Ok~ So Brittany has been talking about getting a dog for a while now. I've tried to get her to the flea market about 20 times.... I mean, most of you have met Trigger right??? ~~~ Brittany decides to forgo the flea and rescue this precious pup named Angel. Angel~ now named Maggie~ was given up during a divorce. She came over last night to meet Trigs. She is super sweet and cute. I think that she and Trigger might be cousins... see below...

Britt and Angel/Maggie are still in the 'getting to know you phase'. Check back in a few days to see if there are any updates on this new and growing relationship.

Andrea visits!!!!!!

Andrea finally made it home this weekend. It was a super short visit, but Nicholas was REALLY excited to see her. We just got to hang out for one day, but we managed to eat a lot and go shopping!!!! What a good day it was!

Steeplechase 2008!!!

Steeplechase was just as fun as anticipated this year. Although there were a few people that I consider 'staples' missing... (andrea-- we almost starved to death!) It was a great time!

A few weeks ago Nicholas and I had the pleasure of going to Louisville to a very special event. Abby's first communion! We had lots of fun and it was a great weekend had by all.

David & Jennifer's wedding

A couple of weeks ago I went to the fabulous wedding of Jennifer & David. It was my first weekend leaving Nicholas and it was well worth it! I had such a fun time. It was beautiful and lots of fun. I'm hoping that I get pics soon of David on stage at the reception. That was truly classic! These are some of the pictures that I took at the party after the rehersal dinner. My new house.... in progess

SO I have now put down ernest money on my house in Hendersonville. I have a couple of pictures of the progress... which is a bunch of dirt.
